It’s official: the Climate Live Entertainment + Culture Pavilion is heading to COP30 in Belém 🇧🇷
The Climate Live Entertainment + Culture Pavilion is heading to COP30 🇧🇷
The first ever joint Climate Live Entertainment + Culture Pavilion is coming to the COP30 Blue Zone in Belém this November for 10 days of music, arts, heritage, and culture-based programming rooted in the knowledge, creativity, and resistance of traditional peoples and frontline territories.
Together, we aim to connect diverse cultural practices, ancestral and territorial knowledge systems, and climate policy by bringing together policymakers, creatives, activists, organizations, cultural institutions, and community leaders through dynamic and impactful programming.
We’re thrilled to be partnering with our friends at Climate Live to deliver a dynamic, creative, and impactful pavilion that will create space for meaningful dialogue, practical solidarity, cultural exchange, and much more.
See our official partnership announcement on Instagram here.
Program Proposal Submission is Open 💡
We are now accepting programming proposals for our shared pavilion space!
Our Expression of Interest form is open to cultural institutions, youth-led collectives, community-based organizations, and territorial initiatives rooted in their own cultural and social contexts.
We will prioritize proposals grounded in cultural practices of resistance, led by traditional communities, Indigenous peoples, quilombola groups, peripheral community collectives, and other communities with deep roots in their territories and ancestral and traditional knowledge systems.
The Brief ✍️
We welcome interdisciplinary proposals that explore the intersections of culture and climate justice, whether through policy, grassroots organizing, social innovation, or creative expression.
The Space 🪐
The activities will take place in a shared territory co-created by frontline communities and cultural organizers to center ancestral knowledge, territorial memory, and climate justice. Selected programming will take place in our 100m² space inside the COP30 Blue Zone.
